Get the most out of your soap (not just ours)

Keep your soap dry. Really, is that simple. Me, I have a little wire rack that sticks to my shower wall with big suction cups. This means that the soap dries off, on all sides, when I'm not showering. If you leave your soap sitting on a counter, or in a garbage soapdish that doesn't allow for drainage, your soap will melt into useless goo - what a waste! Don't do that. The only time your soap should be shrinking is when you are washing with it. Let it properly dry off when not in use, and you will get more value for your money.
It did occur to me that it would be cool if I could find some maker out there that makes, by my somewhat demanding standards, good quality soapdishes, but they'd have to be not just properly functional, but also have some kinda cool weeb factor. Maybe team up with them, buy a bulk order and sell them here. Or just cross-advertise. I'm not ready to delve into that yet, though. Maybe someday?
