My first show!

Time to touch some grass:  Or, rather, the city streets.  It is really unlikely that anyone reading this lives in or near northwest Philadelphia or its suburbs, but this is a large local craft show near me.  I'm considering it practice for vtuber/anime conventions, which I intend to hit up in 2026.

Internally I am cringing a bit as I need to buy around $1,000 worth of stuff to make myself show-ready:  Signage, portable displays, a cashbox, shopping bags, a card reader and an iPad to connect it to, a fold-up portable wagon to move it all around... I figure if I sell out of my existing stock I will break even, IF I manage to do that.  But even if I don't, I'll now have the stuff I need for other shows in the future!

I hate giving money to Apple, for personal philosophic reasons.  But the only decent Android tablets that support cellular connections are four figures, more than twice what a new iPad costs.  Gross, but there it is.
